Having a creator is such a beautiful concept. It feels so good when you think of God as 'THE Creator' of our world. The only problem I have is - I don't want GOD to be connected (even remotely) some of the things that I don't like here.
There lies the problem #1. If I give credit to God with creation, then it's either all or nothing. If I omit even a single thing then I need a good explanation on how that little thing came into existence without god's help.
Problem #2 is why God would create this world? If God has a reason, then the very existence of a reason destroys the beauty of God concept. God could be no different than his subjects.
Problem #3 is what did God use to create this world? If it was created from NOTHING then this world is not that real. Consequences of this world have no much relevance out God. If the world was created from something, then a follow-on question would be - where did THAT come from?
The simple alternative is to not connect God with the creation at all. It might be entirely possible that something like our world can exist without ever being created....
